How to Enable Frontend Moderation of Comments With Comment Edit Pro

Comment Edit Pro offers several tools to facilitate frontend moderation of comments, beginning with basic frontend editing.

Enabling Frontend Editing

To enable Frontend Editing, Toggle the option for “Enable Frontend Editing for Admins.”

This will allow you to visit any comment on the frontend and click the “Edit” button to pull up the full comment.

From there, you can edit the full comment and mark it as pending or spam.

For additional shortcuts, you can also make it so deleted and spammed comments are permanently deleted.

Enable the Frontend Moderation Menu

In addition to editing the comment on the frontend, you can also enable the Frontend Moderation Menu.

This will show a shortcut when viewing a comment on the frontend. You’ll see three dots next to a comment, which will allow you to perform comment actions.

Opening the three dots allows you to quickly edit, disapprove, and spam comments.
