How to Edit Comments in WordPress
One of the more common complaints of admins and commenters alike is that WordPress doesn’t allow comment editing out of the box. Fortunately, there is a free and easy plugin that’ll do it for you: Comment Edit Core (or formerly known as Simple Comment Editing).
This “How To” will show you how to edit comments by installing the Comment Edit Core plugin and showing you how to configure it.
Step 1: Install Comment Edit CoreOpens in a new window
Comment Edit Core is easy to install. Go to your admin dashboard, find Plugins->Add New, and search for “Comment Edit Core.”
You can also download it below.

The admin options are entirely optional, but you can head to Settings->Comment Edit Core to adjust the comment time, and even add a Mailchimp newsletter to your comment form.
