I’m pleased to announce that Quotes DLX has launched. There’s also currently a lifetime license for pretty cheap.
The plugin has been in development since January 2022 and it is such a relief to finally ship.
Originally going to be an add-on block for Highlight and Share, I was convinced to spin it off the plugin.
It was the hardest thing I have ever worked on. For such a simple concept, I went a bit out of my way to make sure the plugin was solid.

Quotes DLX was released a week ago. Let’s go over some of the feedback so far.
QuotesDLX Reception
I built QuotesDLX in public on Twitter, so there was some initial buzz for the plugin. I encourage you to see the plugin evolve via my Twitter thread.

I also released the plugin (since it is premium) on the unofficial Plugins Directory.
Gobinda Tarafdar helped me with User Acceptance Testing. This ensured it was solid. Here was some of his initial feedback:

And finally, David McCan from the Dynamic WordPress group, posted a fairly in-depth overview of QuotesDLX.
What’s next?
There’s a few quick wins. I’d like to allow the themes to have custom colors. I also want to release one free theme.
